Arequipa – Cabanaconde – Oasis

Pick up from your respective hotels 03:00 a.m. approx. We begin our trip for an average of approximately 3 hours. We will arrive at the town of Chivay to have breakfast, then we will pass through the entire Colca Valley until we reach the “Cruz del Cóndor” viewpoint. We will make a 45-minute stop in this area where we will be able to observe one of the deepest canyons in the world and the king of the skies, the fascinating Condor, and then we will continue traveling for 20 more minutes to begin our walk from the San Miguel viewpoint, approximately 03 hours. Descending a section of almost 1000 Mt. until reaching the small town of San Juan de Chuccho located on the right bank of the Colca Valley, where we will have lunch and rest with an extraordinary view. After lunch we will continue our journey to El Oasis (Sangalle 2180 meters above sea level) passing through the towns of Cosñirgua and Malata (2,450 meters), walking an average of 3 hours until we reach the oasis of Sangalle. In this place we can enjoy its natural pools at 20 ºC and a walk around the place, there we will have our rest until the evening to enjoy a bonfire and a delicious dinner under the beautiful sky of the Colca and then spend the night.

Oasis – Valle del Colca – Reserva de Salinas y Aguada Blanca – Arequipa

04:30 am We get up to ascend towards the town of Cabanaconde for an average of approximately 3 hours. People who are very tired have the option of renting mules for the climb. Once in Cabanaconde we will have a restful breakfast and upon return we will visit the Antahuilque viewpoint, terraces and pre-Inca terraces. We will also visit the town of Maca and the thermal baths.

Lunch in Chivay, continuing our trip we will visit Patapampa, famous viewpoint of the volcanoes (4910m.a.s.l.), the National Reserve of Salina Aguada Blanca, a place where llamas, alpacas and vicuñas can be seen.

17:00 approx. Arrival in Arequipa.
