Recorrido: Huaraz – Yungay – Laguna Llanganuco – Cebollapampa – Laguna 69 – Huaraz.

5:00 – 5:30 am: Pick up from your hotel with our tourist transportation to travel through the northern area of ​​the Callejón de Huaylas, passing through Taricá, Jangas, Yungar, Anta, Marcará, Carhuaz. Arriving at Yungay (2,458 meters above sea level) we take the road to the east, to the mountains of the Cordillera Blanca, we enter the Huascarán National Park. We pass near the 2 lagoons of Llanganuco (Chinancocha and Orconcocha), we make a brief stop to take photos and enjoy the impressive turquoise lagoon.
9:00 am: We arrive at the Cebollapampa base camp (3,900 meters above sea level), we begin to walk for 2.5 to 3 hours to Laguna 69 (4,600 meters above sea level), observing spectacular landscapes, gigantic mountains such as: Huascarán, Pisco, Huandoy, Yanapaccha, Chacraraju. We appreciate a lot of vegetation.
Upon arriving at the lagoon we will stay for about 40 minutes to enjoy the landscape, take photographs, and have a snack.
Walk back to Cebollapampa around 2 – 2.5 hours, our bus will be waiting to take us back to Huaraz.

7:00 pm: Arrival in Huaraz.

Recommendations for trekking:

  • Lightweight trekking pants / shorts
  • Windproof jacket with hood, polar jacket
  • Light clothing for the day, warm clothing for the afternoon 
  • Hat or cap against the sun
  • Sunglasses with UV protection
  • Insect repellent
  • Lipstick
  • First aid kit for small injuries or discomfort
  • Waterproof for possible rain (December to March)
  • Bring a box lunch: granola, fruits, energy bars, peanuts, sandwiches, etc.
  • Cash for breakfast (single takeaway)
  • Trekking shoes or sneakers. Avoid heels or thin-soled sneakers
